Providing Better Immunology Tools For Better Healthcare ::
MHC peptides have proven to be extremely important to researchers exploring immunological functions at the cellular level. However, it remains difficult to predict which peptides will be most effective at triggering an immune response towards a disease state. PolyScreen is a high-throughput approach, which allows the creation of individual epitope maps for any protein of interest. This application enables the screening of large numbers of peptides with the goal of identifying high affinity binding peptides. This robust assay successfully eliminates non-binding peptides, which need not be investigated further, saving valuable resources and R&D costs.
PolyScreen is mostly used to screen libraries of synthetic overlapping peptides at lengths between 8-11 amino acids, covering potential tumor-associated proteins or proteins of viral origin. Various screening strategies are available to fully meet the customers needs. Flexibility to screen peptides from any protein of interest makes our approach a key factor in early target discovery. Overall, the MHC epitope mapping approach will offer researchers access to a large pool of peptides that can be used as lead components for vaccine, therapeutic and diagnostic developments in many disease areas.
